Funding Unit

 
The funding unit is the amount of money calculated in accordance with the Regulations and is payable for tuition fees at an approved DSEPS.  The funding unit is transferred directly to the DSEPS/RSEPS.

The 2024-2025 funding unit is $10,500.

The funding is released directly to the DSEPS in two installments. 

• Installment 1 is released upon confirmation of student attendance as of September 30th and represents 60% [2023-2024 = $6,120]. 
• Installment 2 is released upon confirmation of student attendance as of March 1st and represents 40% [2023-2024 = $4,080].

If a student starts after September 30th, the funding unit is pro-rated on a monthly basis and is also released in two installments of 60% and 40%.
