In "Blueprint for Building a Better Nova Scotia,” the government of Nova Scotia outlined the development of a new "tuition support program for special needs students with IPPs [Individualized Program Plans].”
This process has been developed to provide eligible students with the opportunity to attend a designated special education private school.
The intention of this support is to provide options for students with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Learning Disabilities (LD) to access education outside the framework of the public school system.
